Job Description
As a Construction Estimator, you’ll calculate the materials, labor, and overhead costs for construction projects. You will also analyze project plans, assess risks, and collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure accurate pricing.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications
- Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids
- Collaborate with project managers and clients
- Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as needed
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., ProEst, Buildertrend)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in construction project management
