Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive information. Your tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring networks for security breaches, and implementing firewalls, encryption, and other security measures. You will also educate staff on security best practices and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security measures to protect systems and networks
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect suspicious activity
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Respond to security incidents and breaches
- Provide training on security protocols for staff
Requirements
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Experience with firewalls, encryption, and security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Wages
Average hourly wage: $35 to $55 NZD
Annual salary: $75,000 to $110,000 NZD
